Many people become anxious about visiting the dentist, and for some, this can make dental treatment very difficult.

At Kingswood Dental and Implant Centre, we offer conscious sedation to patients who are unable to tolerate treatment whilst awake.

Our trained nurses provide a sedation treatment at the practice, ensuring patients are comfortable and relaxed during their treatment. Some patients even fall asleep and remember very little afterwards.

If you are interested in undergoing treatment under sedation, please consult with your dentist, who will be happy to arrange this for you.

Receptionist is friendly, patient and helpful.Noshan my dentist is exceptional. Friendly, gives detailed and understandable explanations regarding the state of ones teeth and gums. If needed also goes through in detail possible treatments, understanding that we can't all go for the most expensive. Accepts any decision. Treatment given is done carefully, minimising discomfort.The 1 star dropped is due to having to fully complete the forms on the pad even though nothing has changed since last completed. It would be good if one could just sign to say nothing has changed.

I had a tooth extraction yesterday and as I’m on anticoagulants I was very nervous but they looked after me splendidly. I had a panic as I’d left my mobile phone at home so I couldn’t communicate to a friend who was picking me up. They rang a taxi for me to enable me to get home. Can’t falt their friendly assistance you get. Special thanks to dentist Nozan & gentle nurse, Holly & the older lady on reception.

Appointment for a check up today was quick and easy, not having to fill in a form asking for all sorts of information including if I was pregnant ( hardly likely as an 84 year old male)Anyway the dentist I saw was very good and explained ion detail all he had found during my check up including costs for further treatment.Very good service!

As a very nervous new patient I was treated with kindness, patience and respect. My dentist explained what he was going to be doing and demonstrated the tools he would use to clean plaque off my teeth. He checked on me frequently to ensure I was not in any discomfort and the treatment was professional and thorough. I felt in very safe hands. Thank you.

My treatment was arranged when I came in for a check up on 9th April to replace an old filling with a composite filling. I was quoted the price as £225.00.When I went to reception to pay for the check up and arrange my treatment the receptionist asked if she could also take a deposit for the treatment in 2 weeks time. I agreed and paid £67.90.After my treatment on 23rd April I went to the receptionist to pay and make another appointment for 6 months.I showed her my receipt for amount I previously paid. It should be £27.90 for the check up and £225 for the treatment. Therefore, I should have been deducted £185. , as I had already paid a £40. deposit.I checked my receipt and bank when I got home to discover I had been charged the full £225. I called the surgery and spoke to someone who was going to talk to their practice manager and call me back. I called them again the next afternoon, but up until now I have had no reply. They are now closed for the weekend. I am happy with my dentist, but a little disappointed in the front desk.

My course of treatment was quite lengthy as it included root canal fillings and then a crown. I can only commend the dentists involved on their professional and considerate treatment. Attended yesterday to have 3 teeth extracted, I was put at ease straight away by Dr. N Kotnaiei and his dental nurse.. I was informed before any procedure was carried out. Once the extractions had been completed, aftercare was fully explained (not just given a fact sheet to read) I left the surgery very pleased with the service albeit very numb. I was lucky when Kingswood opened their books for NHS patients and did not have to wait long to be seen for my initial appointment and I have now started on the journey to getting my smile back. Thank you to everyone at Kingswood.

My family have been with this practice for well over a decade. A couple of years ago it changed hands but the service remains consistently good. Receptionists are polite and efficient and the two dentists I have been fortunate to have been assigned to over the years have been excellent. I’m an NHS patient so the service I have received has nothing to do with being a private patient.

Despite the high anxiety I suffer with dental treatment, my recent experience here was as good as it possibly could have been. I required treatment over four appointments and Hamid Jahanbani was brilliant. He has a very calm and reassuring manner, explaining exactly what he was doing as he went, which helped a lot. I would not hesitate to recommend the practice and Hamid in particular.
